Some people avoid drinking water before bedtime to avoid waking up at night to use the bathroom. Here's an explanation:

When you're standing or sitting, gravity keeps water in the lower parts of your body, which is why legs sometimes swell. However, when lying down, the lower body balances with the kidneys, making it easier for them to process water and remove waste.


Water is essential for flushing toxins out of the body. Here's the recommended schedule for drinking water:


Two cups of water immediately after waking up: Helps activate internal organs.


One cup of water 30 minutes before each meal: Improves digestion.


One cup of water before taking a bath: Helps lower blood pressure.


One cup of water before going to bed: Reduces the risk of stroke or heart attacks.


Drink water before bedtime to prevent nighttime leg cramps. Muscle cramps often signal a need for hydration.


Drinking a slightly warm cup of water 20 minutes after a meal can eliminate the need for frequent doctor visits.
